Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. Bea was on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish writer and actor. Her birth date was March 16, 1984. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few parts on Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. By 2012 she was regularly being featured on sketch comedy programs and sitcoms. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she became a regular on various panels, and is becoming a mainstay. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her maiden name to honor her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a vet for horses who died by suicide at three-years-old. She didn't discover the reason of her death until thirteen years later. In 2017, Bea published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and she adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea and her sister Sinead, were raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. They were obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. Bea spent her childhood as an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want a racing career. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
